Students who have not taken their education in English will need to meet the University's English Language Requirements in addition to the academic requirements listed below.

Diplomas

For admission to an ACU Diploma, students will need to meet the following minimum academic requirements.  Upon successful completion of an ACU Diploma, students may be eligible to enter into the 2nd year of a range of ACU Bachelor Degrees.

Canadian Senior Secondary School
Minimum 50% pass
International Baccalaureate
Successful completion with a minimum of 24 over six subjects
Mexican Senior Secondary School

Minimum 50% pass

US High School Graduate Diploma

Grade point average of 2.0

Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degrees

For admission to an ACU Diploma, students will need to meet the following minimum academic requirements.

Canadian Senior Secondary School
  • Alberta - Average of 65% in 5 academic Year 12 courses in Alberta High School Diploma
  • British Columbia - Average of C+ in 4 subjects including English in the British Columbia Senior Secondary School Graduate Diploma
  • Manitoba - Average of 60% in the Manitoba High School Graduate Diploma
  • New Brunswick - Average 65% required in 5 academic courses in the New Brunswick High School Graduation Certificate
  • New Foundland - Average 65% in 5 academic courses in the New Foundland Provincial High School Graduate Certificate
  • Nova Scotia - Average 65% in 5 academic courses in the Nova Scotia High School Completion Certificate
    Ontario - Average of 65% in 6 OAC courses in the Ontario Secondary School Diploma
  • Prince Edward Island - Average of 65% in 5 academic subjects in the Prince Edward Island High School Graduate Certificate
  • Quebec - Average of 65% in 5 academic Year 12 courses
  • Saskatchewan - Average of 65% in 5 academic Year 12 courses
International Baccalaureate
Successful completion with a minimum of 24 over six subjects
Mexican Senior Secondary School

Graduation plus successful completion of a recognised pre-tertiary or foundation program or on year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution.  An ACU Diploma will meet this entry requirement.

United States High School Graduate Diploma

Grade Point average of 2.8 and SAT scores of 500 for critical reading and mathematical components.

Postgraduate (Masters) Degrees

For admission to an ACU Postgraduate Degree, students require a Bachelor Degree equivalent to an Australian Bachelor Degree with a pass that is acceptable to the university. Please note there may be additional entry requirements for some programs.  Refer to each course for more information.
