History

The Strathfield property was acquired by the Christian Brothers in 1907 and later became a site for the training of teachers. At the end of 1990, the Catholic College of Education Sydney formally handed responsibility for the College and its operations to ACU National.

Situated in one of the older, established suburbs in Sydney, the campus is located in 15 kilometres west of the Sydney city centre. Click to view a map of Strathfield and its surrounds.

You can reach us by public transport or car.

  • Travelling by public transport ? The campus is located near Strathfield Station, which is one of Sydney?s main interchanges for trains and buses. The University is approximately a 20-minute walk from the station or a short bus trip which stops near the main entrance to the campus.
  • Travelling by car - Parking is available on campus.
