Facilities at North Sydney Campus (MacKillop) (text version)
- Entry
- Main entrance to the University from Edward Street.
- Vice Chancellery
- The Vice-Chancellery is co-located on the MacKillop Campus, and it includes the office of the Vice-Chancellor and other Executive staff.
- Cafeteria
- The student cafeteria offers hot food, drinks, sandwiches and snacks for purchase by students and staff.
- Student Common Area
- The common area is a space for students to socialise and relax between classes. It includes a pool table and table tennis table, and is located next to the campus cafeteria
- Courtyard
- The courtyard is a central feature of the campus, and contains picnic tables and seating where students can gather to socialise or study outdoors.
- Library
- The library is open six days per week during semester, and five days per week during the holiday breaks.
- Library 2
- Students are able to access library computers, wireless internet, on-line Library resources, photocopiers and printers, a desktop scanner and group study areas.
- Library 3
- The Library collection, across all ACU National campuses, has more than 450,000 items, 650 paper serial titles and over 50,000 online databases, eJournals and eBooks. Various reciprocal arrangements have also been made with libraries in other universities, which extend the resources available to students.
- Ryan Auditorium
- The auditorium serves as the largest lecture theatre on campus. It seats 300 people and contains computer and overhead projection facilities.
- International Office
- There is a dedicated International Student Adviser for international students, as well as staff who can assist with applications and OSHC enquiries.
- Student Centre
- The Student Centre is the first point of contact for all enquiries related to your enrolment, fees, examinations, timetabling, or graduations once you have commenced studies at ACU National.
- Bookshop
- The bookshop holds textbooks, general stationery and gift items for purchase by students and staff.
- Nursing Labs
- The Nursing Labs serve as Virtual Health Environments and are designed to simulate hospital wards. They are used by nursing students to learn practical skills in their course.
- Computer Labs
- The provides many computer stations with access to the Internet, Microsoft Office applications, and student email.
- Science Classroom
- Nursing and Environmental Science students use this classroom for practical learning in their courses.
- Classroom
- Classrooms usually seat 15 - 50 students and are used for tutorial style classes in Nursing, Business and IT courses.
