- Entry
- The Brisbane Campus commenced in 2003, replacing the former Brisbane Campus at Mitchelton. The site was formerly the Pius XII Provincial Seminary and is set on 40 hectares of beautiful natural surroundings. The campus combines state-of-the-art facilities with a history extending back to 1863.
- Car Parking
- Free on-campus parking is available to students.
- Chapel
- Library
- The Brisbane Library serves the teaching, research and learning needs of the McAuley at Banyo community. The Library provides students, staff and visitors with a range of study spaces, computing facilities, audiovisual and print resources in an attractive environment with support staff close by.
- Opening hours:
Monday - Thursday, 7:45am - 9:00pm
Friday, 7:45am - 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday , 1:00pm - 5:00pm
- The Library Collection of more than 135,000 books evolved out of the McAuley Teachers College and now represents the combined resources of the Australian Catholic University, the St Paul's Theological College Library and the Aquinas Collection. The Library reflects the teaching strengths of McAuley at Banyo.
- Student Lounge
- The student lounge is an enjoyable place to socialise and relax with friends. Amenities include lounges, pool tables, TV, gym and facilities room. The Student Association also organises an annual ball, green day, toga party and a range of other events throughout the year.
- Lecture Theatre
- The above image represents one of the main lecture theatres on campus. Modern facilities allow for an effective study environment.
- Swimming Pool
- The swimming pool can be accessed during the warmer seasons in Brisbane. The facility is available for all students.
- Coffee Shop
- Catherine's Cafe. Enjoy a coffee, cold drink or a snack!
- Cafeteria
- A selection of food and refreshments are available to students on campus.
- Gallery
- The art gallery displays a range of student artwork and external art collections.
- Student Centre
- The Student Centre is the first point of contact for all enquiries related to your enrolment, fees, examinations, timetabling, or graduations once you have commenced studies at ACU National. The Student Centre is open from 9-5 Monday through Friday.
- Bookshop
- Open from 9 -2 weekdays.
- Tennis Court
- Two tennis courts are available for student use.
- Classroom
- Rooms are equipped with modern teaching facilities.
- Nursing Labs
- The laboratories have simulated wards, private rooms, Isolation Room, Simulated bathroom/toilet, Medication/Treatment Room, Preparation Room, Storage Room, Compactus, centralised demonstration benches, Advanced Life Support mannequins which can be programmed with different scenarios, and private study areas.
- Science Labs
- Facilities are available for specialised teaching units.
- Computer Labs
- There are 165 computers available on campus in specialised computer labs and library commons. Wireless internet access is also available on campus.
- Outside Area
- There are many facilities on campus to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings and sunny Brisbane climate. The grounds also include two sports ovals, a reflection pool and grass common.
