International opportunities

All ACU students have the opportunity to study overseas. Taking up international opportunities is an exciting and challenging way for you to broaden your horizon in a new environment.

Starting in 2012, we will also be adding new courses in international development and global studies to our impressive range of offerings.

Bachelor of International Development Studies

The Bachelor of International Development Studies covers all aspects of reducing poverty and empowering people in developing countries. Graduates will have the opportunity to work overseas in development or humanitarian programs.

Bachelor of Global Studies

The Bachelor of Global Studies dual degrees are designed to provide high-achieving students with an informed international perspective that will be valued in the global workplace.

Study abroad and exchange opportunities

Overseas study is an enriching and life changing opportunity. All current ACU students have the opportunity to study for one or two semesters overseas as part of their degree. You can study at one of over 60 partner institutions, and can even qualify for a university grant of up to $2500.


Disney Internship

Through this program students have the opportunity to work and study in the Disney theme park in Orlando, Florida, USA.


ACU Gap Year

The Action, Learning and Reflection in the Gap Year unit is now available to all students, allowing them to integrate social justice actions, learning, and reflection in the context of a gap year-style community engagement placement, either locally or overseas.
