'From a managers perspective, being involved in the field education program at ACU has had a number of benefits to my team and service. I have provided a learning environment to students to undertake project work in my area which in turn has provided us with in-depth research into work areas that have been on our to-do list for some time. With this background work completed we can then build on this. It also lets the students see how innovative and exciting both our work and team is and this can be an option for the student or other students considering employment. Students bring in new perspectives and ideas, and captialising on this knowledge can add to the knowledge of the staff in the areas.'
