Eligibility

 An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.

To be eligible to apply for admission to the Honours degree course, a student must have completed the Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design pass degree or equivalent, normally within the last five years with at least a credit average including at least 4 of the units in the major sequence of the discipline of the Honours course.

 Academic IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and speaking tests, and a minimum of 5.5 in listening and reading tests) plus high level achievement in a three-year Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design qualification.

Description

The Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design Honours degree is a higher level of study available to BVAD graduates and other eligible external applicants who wish to undertake research-based practice in studio art, graphic design and art and design history and theory into an honours fourth year.
