Associate Degree in Social Science (Residential Care)

This course is designed for people working as residential carers in boarding schools, hostels and university colleges. It provides the foundation for on-going professional development, helping you to understand the nature and lifestyle of adolescents and young adults, together with your responsibilities and duty of care to young people in your charge.

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:
  1. Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or equivalent; or appropriate VET Certificate III or IV; and
  2. access to a workplace relevant to field of study.
