If you have a passion for engaging with children from five to 12 years of age, our primary education programs will give you the skills and qualifications you need to become a successful, contemporary educator.
Professional experience placements will be undertaken in a variety of primary education settings, with options to complete placements in unique rural, remote and overseas settings.
As an ACU primary education graduate you will be eligible to apply for teacher registration in the ACT, NSW, Qld, Vic and overseas.
Bachelor of Education (Primary)
Our flagship course focuses on initial primary education and will enable you to become a primary school teacher with particular strengths in literacy, mathematics, science and technology.
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary)
You will graduate with dual qualifications so you can teach in either an early childhood setting or primary school.

Master of Teaching (Primary)
This course is for graduates who want to become primary school teachers and have an appropriate undergraduate degree.
Master of Teaching (Early Years)
Graduates will possess a new set of skills in the understanding of contemporary education issues. They will have the high-level critical and evaluative skills needed to teach in early childhood settings through to Year 6 in primary schools.
