This course is available only to international students.

You can qualify with provisional studies in business. This course is also an alternative pathway into the Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Marketing or Bachelor of Human Resource Management for international, fee-paying students.

Eligibility

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12, or equivalent:

  1. IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.0 in each band) or equivalent or ACU English Test; and
  2. High School graduation.
High School graduation with a minimum 50% pass, plus an overall academic IELTS score of 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.0 in each test).

Description

The Diploma in Business course aims to provide an opportunity for provisional studies in units available in the Bachelor of Commerce course, and an alternative pathway into that course for international, fee-paying students. Students receive support in the form of additional tutorials, additional English language classes, close monitoring of individual student progress, and relevant non-discipline units in Australian Society and English Language Communication Skills.

Pathways to Further Study

Students who complete the Diploma in Business may apply for entry into the Bachelor of Commerce. Credit will be given for units completed in the diploma course.
