Eligibility

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12, or equivalent:

New South Wales
Prerequisites: English.

Queensland
Prerequisites: English (4, SA).

Victoria
Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 – a study score of at least 30 in English (ESL) or 25 in any other English.

Equivalent to Australian High School completion plus academic IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 6.0 in speaking and writing tests, and 5.5 in listening and reading tests).

Description

The Bachelor of Marketing is designed to give students the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed for a stimulating career in marketing. Marketing plays a pivotal role in the success of any business. Students develop an understanding of consumer behaviour and the importance of market research and factors to consider when pricing, distributing and promoting products and services in different markets are studied. From this background students learn how to design, develop, implement and manage effective marketing strategies from an ethical marketing viewpoint.
