English for the Workplace
This course enables students to develop the English language and intercultural skills needed to communicate successfully in an Australian workplace. The course is conducted on campus at ACU Brisbane. ELICOS students have access to all facilities including email, internet, use of the library, swimming pool and sporting facilities and the opportunity to interact with other students on campus.

Description
This course will help students develop:
- confidence in listening, speaking, reading and writing through tasks relevant to the workplace;
- clear and accurate pronunciation;
- an understanding of what is expected in an Australian workplace and how to interact successfully.
Students who hold a Working Holiday or a Student Visa may apply for an internship for 5 hours a week in addition to their English for the Workplace course. The internship provides an opportunity for real life English practice outside class hours.
