Description

The normal delivery mode for this fee-paying course will be online by part-time study. For sponsored cohorts other delivery arrangements on campus or at other locations may be negotiated. Students will normally study one unit each semester and complete the course over two years.

This course has been specifically designed for the Catholic social services sector. It aims to provide important insights and formation opportunities for professional staff in Catholic agencies. It will enable staff to further develop their capacities in ethics, leadership, management and welfare sector law within the framework of the Catholic ethos.

The course will enable staff to develop further their capacities as ethical professionals within the framework of the mission and identity of the specific agency. The course promotes adult learning by valuing the prior learning and experience of the participants, by providing opportunities for collaborative learning and by seeking to engage students in relevant and stimulating learning and reflection activities.

The Graduate Certificate in Catholic Identity and Leadership articulates to the Master of Human Services.
