Master of Human Resource Management

This degree aims to provide practicing human resource management professionals and those wishing to enter the profession with theoretical and practical understanding of Human Resource Management (HRM). It is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage an organisations human resources and to integrate HRM specialisations into a strategic framework.

The program recognises that the barriers that once existed between HRM specialists in training, industrial relations, organisational development, and selection and recruitment are quickly disappearing in modern organisations. Issues such as enterprise bargaining, diversity, globalisation, multi-skilling, Occupational Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusiveness, and employee involvement are forcing practitioners to take an integrated, strategic view of HRM. The Master of Human Resource Management degree reflects this enhanced role for human resource professionals.

Eligibility

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites:

(a) Bachelor degree in any discipline; or
(b) Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.

Applicants must have an overall academic IELTS of 6.5 (with an individual score of 6.0 for all tests) as well as a Bachelor degree in any discipline; or at least two (2) years professional experience in management/leadership positions.
