Master of Business Administration
This course delivers the basic foundations, content and competencies that will support the development of effective managers in a variety of roles and organisational settings.
The MBA will provide you with the opportunity to develop analytical tools for decision making in business and other professions; organisational skills for effective implementation of policy; an understanding of the various functional areas of business; skills in teamwork and leadership; effective oral and written communication; an appreciation of the use of information technology and systems; understanding of the ethical implications of management decisions; and an appreciation of the dynamics of the global business environment and its implications for future business.

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules. Apply directly to Australian Catholic University. To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites: (a) Bachelor degree in any discipline; or |
Applicants must have an overall academic IELTS of 6.5 (with an individual score of 6.0 for all tests) as well as a Bachelor degree in any discipline; or at least two (2) years professional experience in management/leadership positions. |

Description
As part of an articulated suite of postgraduate business administration courses, this program aims to build upon students' undergraduate study in the field through examination of the key dimensions of business operational tasks and processes in an environment of rapid change.
The course assists students to understand management processes in organisations in the private and public sectors. Students acquire a deeper knowledge of theoretical, conceptual and ethical issues applying to business processes. They are able to analyse, evaluate and justify business processes in a changing environment.
Students may also exit from the Master of Business Administration with the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration or the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
