Master of Accounting
This course is designed for students who have had little exposure to accounting to meet the entry requirements of professional accounting bodies including CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. You will acquire knowledge and skills to maximise the financial and other resources of an organisation across all business areas including marketing, economics, finance, human resource management and business information systems. You will also be exposed to the ethical, legal, professional dynamics of accounting and the accounting profession.

An applicant must also comply with the Admission Rules. Apply directly to Australian Catholic University. To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites: (a) Bachelor degree in any discipline; or |
Applicants must have an overall academic IELTS of 6.5 (with an individual score of 6.0 for all tests) as well as a Bachelor degree in any discipline; or at least two (2) years professional experience in management/ leadership positions. |

Description
The Master of Accounting aims to offer students the skills relevant to many business areas including marketing, economics, finance, human resource management and information systems. The program is designed to provide students with skills and competencies necessary to pursue a career in accounting. Knowledge of accounting as well as finance can help individuals and organisations better understand how to put their financial and other resources to best use.
An applicant who has completed the Graduate Certificate in Accounting or Graduate Diploma in Accounting may be granted advanced standing.
