  1. Bachelor degree in any discipline; or
  2. at least two years' professional experience in management/ leadership positions.

Description

The Graduate Certificate in Management of Not-For-Profit Organisations is designed to provide those already in management positions in not-for-profit organisations and those seeking a career in non-profit organisations with the basic skills necessary to undertake management and leadership roles.

These basic skills include the management of the major resources of the organisation namely people and money. Effective management also entails an understanding of appropriate governance structures and issues involving efficient and effective governance. In addition this program aims to expose students to an essential function of any not-for-profit organisation, ie the ability to communicate its purpose and achievements to stakeholders.
