Exercise Science
The Graduate Diploma in Exercise Science (Exercise Prescription) and the Master of Applied Exercise Science (Exercise Prescription) provide an advanced academic program in the discipline of Exercise Science. The postgraduate course sequence in exercise, prescription and rehabilitation involves initial entry into a Graduate Diploma in Applied Exercise Science which leads to an option to continue to the Master of Applied Exercise Science (by completing an additional 80 credit points).
The postgraduate courses aim to provide advanced professional preparation in the discipline of Exercise Science. This specialisation provides professional training, skills, competencies and some clinical practicum hours needed for accreditation by the Australian Association of Exercise and Sports Science (AAESS).
Graduates of the programs will be knowledgeable in exercise prescription and committed to the professional and ethical delivery of this service.
