The MBA provides a generalist business education. It will qualify individuals to apply an advanced body of knowledge to a range of contexts for professional practice and use it as a pathway for further learning.
There are 12 specified units, 2 electives from the business offerings and 2 units that could be taken from any ACU postgraduate unit offerings. There are two capstone components included in the MBA: the Strategic Management for Sustainability unit, and the Ethical Leadership and Social Responsibility unit.
MBA students who have completed the requirements prescribed for the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration or the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration may exit from the course with the relevant award by arrangement with the Course Coordinator.
If you have an undergraduate business related degree (such as B Business, B Business Administration, B Marketing, B HRM, B International Business) you now have the choice to complete ACU’s Master of Business Administration in as little as 12 months. Take advantage of advanced standing and a three semester program and you can fast-track your degree by six months.
