This qualification reflects the role of personal trainers who have specialist skills to train individuals one on one or groups of clients to improve health-related components of fitness in relatively low-risk situations. This may include training of older clients and children.
The course involves 40 hours practical placement within a sports, fitness and recreation environment. You will be assisted by ACU in finding placement facilities. A current Working with Children Check is also required.
