This qualification reflects the role of instructors who perform a range of activities and functions within the fitness industry. They work independently with some level of autonomy in a controlled environment, such as fitness and leisure.
The course involves 40 hours practical placement within a sports, fitness and recreation environment. You will be assisted by ACU in finding placement facilities. You will not achieve competency in a unit until the allocated placement hours have been completed and verified by the workplace supervisor and the ACU assessor. A current Working with Children Check is also required.
