Non-School Leavers

Our Non-School leavers Early Achievers Program is a great way to attain early entry to Australian Catholic University (ACU National) course of your choice if you’re not currently a year 12 student. You’ll have the reassurance of a guaranteed place before other universities even begin to make offers.

You’re worth more than just your score!

Universities traditionally evaluate your year 12 results when offering places. But at ACU National, we recognise that you have more to offer than your score and there is more to succeeding at university than just academic ability.

That’s why, rather than just ask for your secondary school results, we ask you to demonstrate your potential, by showing us any formal or informal education you’ve had, whether it be through TAFE, professional development or employment. Our Early Achievers Program also considers your contribution to your community, through local community organisations, culture, sport or a religious group. If you have the enthusiasm to succeed then you are the type of student we are looking for.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for our Early Achievers Program you must meet a few simple criteria:

Not be currently enrolled in year 12.
Be able to demonstrate your capacity for tertiary study, based on prior formal or informal learning.
Demonstrate involvement in your community, such as contributions to your church, local community, sporting, or cultural organisation.
Select an Australian Catholic University course as one of your preferences when applying for admission through your Tertiary Admissions Centre.
Have undertaken studies or prior learning which enable you to potentially satisfy specific entry requirements for your selected course.

Applications close Monday 6 October. Offers will be made by 30 November.

Remember, you must still apply for admission to ACU National through your state Tertiary Admissions Centre.
