Our Staff
The consultants, trainers and teachers within ACUcom are people who have been selected by the Director, Valerie Hoogstad, because of their:

- strong theoretical backgrounds
- depth of experience
- understanding of the skills needed to audit and evaluate the needs of organisations, schools and individuals
They bring to their particular fields a wide range of knowledge of the corporate sector or the educational sector.
Our highly sought after Course Leaders use a mix of techniques - workshops, discussions, demonstrations, and lectures, enhanced with the latest video/audio recordings.
Valerie Hoogstad - Director
Valerie Hoogstad has been lecturing in universities for many years and has held the position of Director of ACUcom at Australian Catholic University for the last nine years.
Valerie is the author of sixteen books related to Communication and Literature Studies, as well as having researched widely in this area. Communication for Scientific, Technical and Medical Professionals, (MacMillan, Melbourne) is the latest of these textbooks.
