Course objectives
To enable participants to effectively advertise positions, screen applications, conduct recruitment interviews and make sound selection decisions using a behavioural interviewing approach.

Target audience
HR staff, line managers and others involved in staff recruitment and selection.

Outcomes for course participants
On completion of the training participants will be able to:
* Develop behavioural-based questions relevant to the needs of the position
* Effectively screen job applications and prepare for the interview
* Employ effective open-ended, closed and probing questions
* Demonstrate good active listening and communication skills
* Select the applicant who clearly best matches the position requirements
