Course objectives
To develop skills that enable managers to provide valuable support and effective, timely people management skills to their team members, other staff and customers.

Supervisors and managers.

* The role, importance and techniques of effective communication
* Elements of constructive feedback: specific, timely, behaviour-based, impact on work and others
* Recognising good performance
* Managing unsatisfactory performance
* Key attributes of people managers: using emotional rapport, support and advice, etc
* Self-appraisal and action plan
