Bachelor of Exercise Science (Honours)
80 credit points
Minimum duration: 1 year full-time or equivalent part-time.
Admission
Apply directly to ACU National.
Prerequisites
Completion of a relevant bachelor pass degree and:
- attainment of grades of Distinction or above in at least half of the graded units at second and third year levels; or
- completion of at least one year's experience in a related area of exercise science.
Students who have displayed a high level of achievement in the three years of the undergraduate program may be invited to undertake the Honours degree.
Course Description
The course is designed to provide an in-depth academic program in the discipline of Exercise Science. It will enable students to reflect upon processes needed to apply, explain, control and practice complex human performance behaviours. Further it will provide the opportunity to develop skills in undertaking research and to prepare for higher degree studies at the master's and doctoral level.
Students will also be required to attend and participate in graduate seminars organised by the School.
