ACU Camino Pilgrimage

Get your walking boots ready, start training! Join us on The Road to Santiago De Compostela: The ACU Camino Pilgrimage.

Camino Pilgrims

Since the 10th century pilgrims have walked from all over Europe to the cathedral of St James at Santiago de Compostela in North Spain. Following in the footsteps of millions of pilgrims who have completed this walk, the route was first walked by the Apostle St James. In October 2017 ACU offers you the opportunity to take a break from the everyday routine and join us on this walking pilgrimage of 'the way of St James' through the stunning country side of northwest Spain's woodlands, open plains and countryside.

This 16 day guided pilgrimage includes six days of structured walking for a total 115 km. You will have an opportunity to explore Madrid, Toledo, Santiago de Compostela, Finesterra and many more historical sites, cities and towns. Along the way discovering the culture, art, spirituality, history, architecture and cuisine of Spain as you stride through the countryside with a full support team.
