Open Day Frequently Asked Questions university choice

We answer the most common questions about our Open Day events in North Sydney on Saturday 3 September and Strathfield on Saturday 10 September.

What is Open Day?

ACU Open Day is your opportunity to learn more about the University, our courses and campus life. It’s about what you want to see, the questions you want answered and experiencing the campus. It’s your chance to speak with staff and students, learn more about courses, discover the campus and its facilities and have some fun too, with plenty of activities happening during the day.

Where and when is it held?

North Sydney: Saturday 3 September, 8.30am-2.30pm
Strathfield: Saturday 10 September, 8.30am-2.30pm

What time should I arrive?

Depends on the campus so be sure to visit for the details. There's plenty to do with opportunities to not only experience university life, but to also just have a really fun day.

Who should I bring?

Think people you trust and who you would like involved in your education. Parents, grandparents, friends - everyone is welcome.

Do I need to register?

Short answer is no. You can just arrive on Open Day and jump right in. But we suggest you download the ACU Open Day app from the App Store or Google Play, and join the conversation on social media on Facebook, @ACUMedia on Twitter, @acuimages on Instagram, and using #ACUOpenDay.

How do I know what's on?

I can't make it to Open Day. What do I do?

Don’t stress – we understand.  ACU offers personalised tours of our campuses during business hours. Campus tours – like Open Day - give you the opportunity to come on campus and check out our facilities and student life, meet with academic staff to discuss your future study options and ask any questions about the courses you are interested in. You are also able to meet some of our current students and get an insight into what university is like. Contact your closest campus tour organiser.
