2006 Community Engagement Forum
ACU National hosted the 2006 Community Engagement Forum on its Brisbane Campus (McAuley at Banyo) on 14 July. The forum followed "The Big Event ", a national gathering of students from each of the University's six campuses.
Community engagement, alongside with teaching, learning and research, is central to the Mission of the University. The Community Engagement Forum provided an opportunity to:
- discuss and explore the meaning of community engagement;
- share the benefits that community engagement can bring for both the University and its community partners;
- shape a common understanding of community engagement across the broader University community.
