International Applicants

One of our priorities is to recruit outstanding staff who can contribute to the Mission of the University and the achievement of its strategic goals and we recognise that staff can be recruited internationally to achieve this.

International applicants for identified positions may be employer-sponsored for appropriate working visas. There are two options available:

1. The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) allows Australian employers to sponsor employees who are foreign nationals for a permanent visa to work in Australia. Please refer to the ACU Information Sheet and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Information booklet.
2. The Temporary Business (Long Stay) – Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457) visa applies to temporary appointments for a period of between one day and four years. Please refer to the ACU Information Sheet and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Information booklet.
