Accepting or Declining Your Offer
Responding to an offer
If you have received an offer of a place in a course at Australian Catholic University (ACU), either via a Tertiary Admissions Centre (TAC) or a direct offer from ACU, you must accept or decline your offer via Student Connect within 14 days of the date on your ACU Notice of Offer letter. International students should follow the instructions provided in the following link: http://www.acu.edu.au/international/international_admissions/accepting_your_offer/.
Instructions about how to accept or decline your offer via Student Connect are included in your ACU Notice of Offer letter. If your initial offer is made via a TAC (ie VTAC, QTAC or UAC), you will be sent your ACU Notice of Offer letter within a week of receiving your TAC offer.
NOTE: If your initial offer is made through QTAC, you must also respond to QTAC by following the instructions in the QTAC offer letter.
If you accept the offer via Student Connect, you then need to enrol in your course within 14 days of accepting the offer. Visit How to Enrol for further information on how to enrol in units for 2010.
If you fail to accept or decline an offer
If you do not accept or decline your offer within 14 days of receiving your ACU Notice of Offer letter, you may forfeit your place in the course.
If you fail to accept the offer within the required timeframe, or decline the offer and then wish to accept, you must email or write to the ACU Admissions Section as soon as possible, providing your name, ACU student identification number and date of birth, to request that your offer be reinstated.

If a place is still available, you will be advised of a new timeframe in which to accept the offer and enrol. You will also be advised if there is no longer a place available and in this instance, you will have lost your place in the course. If you forfeited your place and wish to gain entry at a later date, you will be required to re-apply through normal application processes. Visit How to Apply for further information.
