Late Addition of Units

During the following periods you may add a unit to your enrolment by completing an Application for Late Addition of Unit/s (LAU) form, and submitting it to your local Student Centre.

After week two of a standard study period or after commencement of a non-standard study period and before the Census Date:

  • A late fee of $50 applies
  • Requires approval by the Course Coordinator after consultation with the Lecturer-in-Charge.

Within 30 days after the Census Date:

  • A late fee of $150 applies.
  • Requires approval by the Course Coordinator after consultation with the Lecturer-in-Charge.

Note: If your LAU form is approved, you will be invoiced for the appropriate tuition and late fee (if applicable). The tuition and late fee must be paid within seven days of receiving email notification. If payment is not made within seven days you will be withdrawn from the unit/s.

Units cannot be added more than 30 days after the Census Date for the relevant study period.
