Pathway Programs
ACU National offers a range of pathway courses that provide options to direct entry.
ACU National's pathway courses enable you to develop your skills and to make the transition into university study as easy as possible. There are a number of different options you can pursue if you are unsuccessful in gaining entry into your chosen course initially. Pathway courses include associate degrees, as well as diplomas and certificates. Depending on the course you choose, you may also have the opportunity to fast track your studies saving you both time and money. When you successfully finish a pathway course and achieve the necessary grades you can gain entry into ACU National courses.
Associate degrees offer the opportunity to undertake two years of full-time study in a course very similar to the corresponding Bachelor degree course. Commonwealth-funded places are available for associate degrees from which you can directly enter the corresponding Bachelor course and gain credit for the study you have undertaken.
Uni Access courses consist of both certificate programs (available to domestic and international students) and diploma programs(available to international students only). Full-time certificate courses are six months' duration consisting of four units and diploma courses are year long consisting of eight units. Students who complete these courses are eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor degree course; admission depends on grades gained and the cut-off for the Bachelor degree course in the relevant admission cycle.
