Urgent Financial Hardship Grant

Thanks to the generosity of ACU staff, alumni, and donors, ACU's Urgent Financial Hardship Grant provides support to students who are suffering severe financial hardship.

This grant provides critical and immediate assistance to students who are experiencing unexpected financial stresses.

Your gift will help cover immediate and essential expenses, ensuring that students can stay focused on their educational journey.

Creating Opportunity Fund

We award hundreds of scholarships funded by generous donors every year. But we receive many more applications from equally deserving students.

Aunty Joan Hendriks Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leaders Scholarship

This scholarship honours Aunty Joan Hendriks, an ACU alumna and distinguished Ngugi Elder of one of the three clan groups of the Quandamooka people of Moreton Bay, Queensland. It provides up to $100,000 to emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders to support their education and professional careers. The life-changing scholarship is unique in supporting recipients across multiple degrees, with mentors and with opportunities to study abroad. Your gift will impact not only recipients' lives but also their families and communities.

Help our global outreach

Our aim is to break down barriers to higher education – not just for ACU students in Australia and Rome, but for vulnerable people internationally. That’s why we have projects in East Timor including Future in Youth. Read more about this initiative and support in any way you can.

Future in Youth Program

Founded by ACU exercise scientists, the sports-based Future in Youth Program delivers health, wellbeing and life skills to young people in East Timor. It champions leadership, respect, fairness and fun.
