"I am currently responsible for designing and implementing resistance and conditioning programs, rehabilitation guidelines and for developing recovery protocols for elite athletes. My role involves helping athletes to achieve their personal best and developing their performance.

Work placement is king. Every job I've been offered has been through contacts I've made in my work placement. Placements also gave me the opportunity to be exposed to professional sports and the wide range of career opportunities available in the industry."

Bachelor of Nursing (2011)
Registered Nurse (Community Health Intake), ACT

"ACU has friendly and welcoming staff, and I have made friends for life studying there. I learnt how to communicate effectively with patients in a professional manner and to develop sensitivities around the many issues I know I will face. I also learnt how to work in a team and autonomously.

As a registered nurse I have worked in a number of different areas since finishing my degree. These have included a gastrointestinal ward, renal ward, vascular urology ward, and in medical imaging. I am looking forward to see what the future holds for me. I am just getting started."
