A message from the VC

Welcome to ACU’s alumni community. With more than 85,000 graduates spread around the globe, the University’s alumni network is an excellent resource for advice, support, contacts and opportunities.

As an ACU graduate, you continue to be an important part of our university community.

One of the things I hear most often from our graduates is how your time at ACU opened your eyes to the ways in which you can contribute to your communities. We remain committed to providing current students with the same opportunity. Our students are involved in programs that have them undertaking pro bono law work, teaching soccer to children in East Timor, and volunteering with welfare agencies in Florence – just to name a few.

Continued support for our scholarship fund has enabled us to offer scholarships and bursaries which recognise outstanding achievement, and provide access to university for those who might otherwise be excluded. In 2016, more than 60 new students benefited from these awards.

I am extremely proud of the links we share with our graduates, and your impressive achievements. You play a vital role in our future success as ambassadors, volunteers, benefactors, and industry partners.

The inaugural ACU Alumni of the Year Awards was launched in 2015 to recognise and celebrate the many ways in which our graduates make a difference to their local and global communities. We will continue to reach out to alumni, faculty staff and industry peers to help identify those graduates who have made an outstanding contribution to their field, in different areas of life.

I invite you to update your details so that we can keep you informed of any upcoming events, new courses, or achievements which may be of interest.
