We offer academic programs in education, theology and nursing.

With over 600 students, the campus offers quality teaching facilities including simulated nursing labs, computer labs, a library, a canteen, visual art rooms, a gallery, a bookshop and a gymnasium. The Student Association organises a range of social events throughout the year.

We also offer campus ministry, student counselling and an academic skills unit, as well as disability assistance and the Jim-baa-yer Indigenous Education Unit. For further information on campus facilities and student services, contact Campus Operations on 03 5536 5300 or visit Reception.

Ballarat offers Camillus Residence, a modern complex of four-, five- and seven-bedroom self-contained houses (79 places), where residents live and prepare their own meals. Accommodation for 2008 will be $3,400 for the 40 week academic year, or $1,700 per Semester. In addition to this there is also a $300 refundable security fee/bond. A caretaker-supervisor is in residence. The housing officer can also assist students with information about alternative accommodation options.
The educational experience
ACU National consistently scores a five-star rating for Indigenous Participation and for the high standard of qualifications of our academic staff (Good Universities Guide 2007).
About Ballarat
A picturesque rural town of 86,000 people, Ballarat is a living museum of the gold rush period in Australia, with many fine Victorian buildings. Attractive gardens, fountains, monuments and sculptures enhance the wide, tree lined streets.
Ballarat's climate is similar to Melbourne's, with cooler temperature in winter and warmer temperature in summer.
