Schools of Nursing
ACU National offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in nursing through Schools of Nursing in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
People
Our staff are highly qualified in the art and science of nursing, as teachers and as practitioners, and we offer small classes and a friendly and supportive environment to enable students to achieve their personal and professional goals. Staff also maintain close relationships with their colleagues in the health care sector to ensure a consistently high quality level of supervision and teaching, regardless of whether students are in classes on campus or attending clinical placements.
Nursing courses at ACU National also attract many international students, enriching the quality of the learning experience and student life for all.
Environment
Our facilities include fully equipped nursing laboratories that simulate the type of physical environment that students will experience as they move beyond the campus for clinical placements and patient care. An interactive virtual health environment provides an additional learning aid that students can use at home.
Careers
Our students graduate with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their chosen careers, and are highly regarded in the health care industry and the broader community. Not only are they well-equipped to work in a variety of health care settings - by choosing to study with ACU National, they also graduate well-equipped to reflect on the ethical and moral considerations that will arise in contemporary nursing practice and patient care.
