Research Performance
Each year Australian Catholic University (ACU National) collects details of research publications and other outputs, funded and unfunded research projects and research supervision for the preceding year.
The collection serves multiple purposes:
- to provide data to DIISR for the Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) that partly determines the University's funding under the Research Training Scheme and the Institutional Grants Scheme the Research Quantum;
- for evaluation of ACU National's research through the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) initiative;
- for the biannual survey by the Australian Bureau of Statistic (ABS) on research and research development in Australia;
- to provide a publicly available record of research activities through the ACU ResearchBank
- to provide data for ACU National's internal research funding model.
