Office of Catholic Partnerships
The Office of Catholic Partnerships provides a dedicated point of contact for matters pertaining to Catholic partnerships in education, healthcare, welfare, theology and other areas.We seek to listen to the needs of the community and to foster and promote collaborative teaching, research and scholarship in accordance with the Mission of the University. To this end, we work with Catholic agencies to promote and develop partnerships in an environment of cooperation.
We invite you to contact us to discuss current partnership arrangements, to resolve issues relating to partnership management and to negotiate the development of new partnerships.

Faculty of Arts and Sciences
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences conducts research in and offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in arts, business, counselling, child protection, environmental science, ethics, human rights, human services, legal studies, practical ministry, music, psychology, social sciences, social work, visual arts and youth work. The Faculty seeks to develop graduates who think critically, who are effective and ethical practitioners in the professions and who contribute to the wider good of their communities.The Faculty seeks to work actively with partners in areas of mutual interest to meet recognised needs. An area of particular expertise is the provision of professional development to assist with the promotion of Catholic identity and leadership capabilities in partner organisations.
Faculty of Education
In the Faculty of Education, courses are available for the preparation of primary and secondary teachers and for leaders and aspiring leaders of schools, as well as education professionals working in adult and community settings. The Faculty offers distinctive courses in religious education and educational leadership and teachers are able to choose studies in these areas as well as from curriculum and other areas of teaching and learning.In addition to providing undergraduate and postgraduate award programs the Faculty of Education at ACU National provides service to the broader community of which it is a part. It does so by offering specialised courses for in-service professional education, promoting opportunities for school-based and classroom research designed to improve professional practice and forging partnerships in the development of learning consortia.
Faculty of Health Sciences
The Faculty of Health Sciences prepares highly qualified graduates in the areas of nursing, midwifery and exercise science. Courses are developed in conjunction with healthcare and health fitness agencies in order to meet the specific needs of the professions and industry.The Faculty has a number of strong and highly regarded partnerships across the health and health fitness sectors. Activities of those partnerships reflect a range of shared interests of community benefit and relevant expertise includes several joint appointments at professional level. The partnerships in the health sector involve the major Catholic health services in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria and have a focus on research aimed at improving outcomes and service delivery.
Faculty of Theology and Philosophy
The Faculty of Theology and Philosophy includes the national Schools of Theology, Philosophy and Religious Education. Academic staff working in the areas of theology, philosophy and religious and moral education advance collaboratively, research, scholarship consultancies, professional development and other programs.
Institute of Business and Informatics
The Institute supports research, professional development and consultancy activities within a culture of ethical practice, innovation, entrepreneurial activity and collaboration across disciplines to meet changing demands and address new opportunities.Institute of Legal Studies
The Institute of Legal Studies brings a bold new approach to Australian legal scholarship and practice. As Australia’s only academic centre dedicated to the exploration of the intersection of law and faith, the Institute offers a unique contribution to the pressing legal issues of our day.
