Getting to the North Sydney Campus (MacKillop)

Our campus is at 40 Edward St, North Sydney and is four kilometres north of Sydney's city centre.

You can reach us by bus, train or car – directions are provided below.


  • Travelling by bus

    Many Sydney Buses services stop within easy walking distance of North Sydney campus, including:
    - 254 service from the city
    - 253, 261 and 290 services from Lane Cove
    - 144 services from Manly
    - 200 and 273 services from Chatswood.

  • Travelling by train

    The campus is approximately 5-10 minutes walk from North Sydney station which is a main station of the CityRail network. This station is serviced by the North Shore and Northern lines.

  • Travelling by car

    The campus is located approximately 300 metres from the Pacific Highway on the city side of North Sydney. Limited-time metered parking and paid parking stations are located within walking distance of the campus.

    Unfortunately, there is no parking available on campus grounds for students or visitors, and only limited reserved places for staff. Bicycle racks are located in the common area outside Level 4 of the James Carroll Building (see Map). People with disabilities can contact Campus Operations on 02 9739 2301 or the disability adviser on 02 9739 2370 to discuss parking provisions or any other access needs.

  • Travelling by ferry

    Nearby ferry wharfs include North Sydney, Kirribilli and Milson’s Point.
