Midyear opportunities
Midyear entrant Dominic Deutscher is pleased he took time out after school before starting uni.
Dominic, 19, now in his second year of a Bachelor of Arts course at Australian Catholic University’s (ACU National) Brisbane Campus (McAuley at Banyo), worked at Horris Hill Preparatory School in Berkshire, England.He also spent some time travelling and thinking about what he’d like to study, before enrolling midyear last year.
“Even though it felt like I might be starting late, everyone got new units in second semester, so we were all in the same boat,” said Dominic, who chose arts because of its broad range of interesting subjects.
ACU National welcomes undergraduate and postgraduate midyear entrants of all ages and backgrounds.
