Matt Faravoni

Matt Faravoni Matt Faravoni, 24, moved from a small regional community to study at nursing at the Ballarat Campus (Aquinas).

"The challenge of nursing is that you never stop learning and there are always new ways of doing things, new procedures and new medications," says Matt. "It keeps you on your toes."

ACU's reputation, course structure and the size of the campus appealed to Matt when he was deciding where to go to university.

"The smaller campus presents a lot of opportunities to be involved in extracurricular groups. I am involved in music, the performing arts and a peer leadership program."

"Also, because of the smaller class sizes you become friends with your lecturers and tutors, who make it easy to learn because they are easily accessible."
