Adam Lister
Adam Lister completed a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources) and Graduate Certificate in Business at ACU's Brisbane Campus, and now works with major sporting teams, performers and promoters planning and delivering of some of Brisbane’s largest events.
AEG Ogden is one of the largest venue and events businesses in the world with 65 venues affiliated with the company including arenas, stadiums and entertainment centres throughout the world.
“It is a great feeling to watch a game or listen to a concert for a short period knowing that you were involved from the beginning through the planning phase and seeing it successfully implemented,” says Adam.
“The hands-on approach to learning meant that I was able put the theory into practice in a workplace environment. Also, the smaller classes meant that I had more face-to-face time with the lecturers.”
“I was able to use my university course to get a strong foothold in the venue management industry. Overall, it is a very good springboard into where I want to go.”
Adam plans to move within the company to the highest levels and travel to venues in Europe and the Middle East.
