Eligibility

Both Year 12 students and non school leavers are welcome to apply for entry to ACU through the Early Achievers' Program.

To be eligible to apply through this Program, you must meet the following criteria.

If you’re a Year 12 student you must:

1. be currently completing Year 12 studies; 
2. have achieved consistent, successful results in Years 11 and 12; 
3. be able to demonstrate involvement in a school, church, local sporting, cultural or other community group, or as a volunteer or carer; 
4. include the ACU course selected on your EAP application as one of your preferences when applying for admission through the relevant Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC, UAC or VTAC); 
5. have undertaken, or currently undertaking, subjects which satisfy prerequisite requirements for the selected course (browse Courses to view prerequisites); 

Note: To gain entry to any undergraduate course at ACU applicants must meet a minimum eligibility score. Attainment of the minimum eligibility score does not include any bonus points allocated under the accessACU scheme and/or the Elite Athlete Program.

If you’re a non school leaver you must:

1. not be currently enrolled in Year 12; 
2. be able to demonstrate capacity for tertiary study, based on prior learning; 
3. be able to demonstrate involvement in church, local sporting, cultural or other community group, or as a volunteer or carer; 
4. include the ACU course selected on your EAP application as one of your preferences when applying for admission through the relevant Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC, UAC or VTAC); 
5. have undertaken studies or prior learning which enable you to satisfy any prerequisite requirements for the selected course (browse Courses to view prerequisites);

International students

International students currently completingYear 12 studies in Australia and who apply to ACU through a Tertiary Admission Centre (QTAC, UAC or VTAC) may apply for EAP under the criteria outlined for Year 12 students, as above.
