Frequently Asked Questions on Applying as an Early Achiever
Can I apply for EAP if I'm an international student?
Yes, but only if you are currently undertaking an Australian Year 12 examination in Australia and are applying through a Tertiary Admission Centre (QTAC, UAC or VTAC).

When do EAP applications close?
Applications close on Sunday 21 October 2012.
How and when will I know if my EAP application is successful?
You will be advised of the outcome of your application by 28 November 2012. It is important to note that you can only be made an offer if your application is complete and submitted by the closing date, and your school Principal and/or community organisation referee has provided a response within the required timeframe.
Will my Year 12 results be considered?
Yes. If your EAP application is successful, you must also meet the University's minimum eligibility score and individual subject prerequisite/s for your selected course.
Note: Attainment of the minimum eligibility score does not include any bonus points allocated under the accessACU scheme and/or the Elite Athlete Program.
I am a non school leaver – what evidence of my ability to study at University should I provide?
You will need to provide evidence of your highest educational qualification, either secondary school, postsecondary including TAFE or tertiary studies.
I have undertaken work experience in Year 11 or 12 – can I include this in my EAP application?
No – work experience is not considered as community experience for EAP and should not be included in your application.
I have significant sporting achievements and am involved in School sport. Can I include this in my EAP application?
Yes, but only if your sporting achievements and commitments have involved a degree of community service, e g significant demonstrated fundraising for your Sporting Club or Association or involvement with organizing/managing your local Sporting Club or Association.
I have a part-time job – can I include this in my EAP application?
No – paid employment is not considered as community experience for EAP and should not be included in your application.
Can I submit more than one application for EAP?
No, you are required to submit only one application - submitting multiple applications will result in a delay in assessment of your application and only one application will be considered.
