How to apply

Applications for 2009 have closed.

Details on applicant eligibility and supporting infomation required for application:

Prospective students must still apply for admission to Australian Catholic University through their relevant Tertiary Admission Centre (TAC).

Assessment and offer process

Applications received by the closing date will be assessed by the University and the successful applicants will be contacted by mid-November. A formal offer of a place at Australian Catholic University will then be made through the relevant TAC offer round and will be subject to:

  1. the selected course at Australian Catholic University being the applicants highest eligible preference at the time of the offer;
  2. the applicant satisfying any specific course knowledge requirements (prerequisites) and/or undergoing a successful interview or audition;
  3. the applicant attaining an ENTER/UAI/OP score equivalent to (or above) the Universitys published minimum eligibility score.

Deferment

Under the Universitys Admission Rules, students have an opportunity to defer an offer of a place for up to one year. Students may take advantage of this policy in relation to any offer they receive through the TAC. However, the successful outcome of an EAP application alone is not a formal TAC offer, and so can not be deferred to a subsequent admission cycle.
