Who is eligible?

Current year 12 students who are applying for entry into an ACU bachelor degree course in 2011 through a Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC, UAC or VTAC).

Geographic Region Bonus

You will be awarded five bonus points if your home address has a postcode that is identified by the University as being:

  • within the local government area of, or adjacent to,  the campus that you are applying to attend, or;
  • in an area geographically relevant to the campus, where there is a low participation rate in higher education

Find out if your postcode is listed as being eligible for the geographic region bonus.

Please note: applicants to the Ballarat Campus will receive an already existing equivalent bonus on the basis of regional/rural status.

How accessACU bonus points are applied

If you have listed an ACU course as one of your preferences on your QTAC, UAC or VTAC application and you are eligible to receive bonus points because of your results and/or geographic reason, the bonus points are automatically awarded. There are no additional forms or applications to apply for the scheme.

While you may meet the criteria for both categories, you can only receive a maximum of 10 bonus points  under this scheme.
