2002 AUQA audit of ACU National

ACU National was one of the first Australian universities to be audited by the Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA). As required by AUQA, the University conducted a self-review of its own activities and prepared a Performance Portfolio (PDF, 203kb) which was submitted to AUQA in early 2002. The Performance Portfolio was the key reference document used by AUQA's Audit Panel when it visited the University over four days in September 2002.

The Audit Panel's Report of an Audit of Australian Catholic University (PDF, 339kb) was publicly released in December 2002. The report included a summary of findings and made a series of commendations (identified areas of good practice) and recommendations (identified areas in need of improvement). A number of examples of "good practice" were identified by AUQA and posted on AUQA's Good Practice Database.

The University has also prepared a progress report (PDF, 115kb) in late 2004 on the actions that are being taken to respond to the recommendations made by the AUQA Audit Panel. The final progress report (PDF, 245kb) was prepared in December 2007 and provided to AUQA.
