Centre for Creative and Authentic Leadership
The Centre for Creative and Authentic Leadership undertakes research, consultancies, leadership development programs and reviews of educational systems. The focus areas are: Moral and Ethical Leadership, Leadership for Social Justice and Social Responsibility, Leadership Capabilities, Indigenous Leadership, Intercultural Leadership, Leadership for Learning and Multi-Level Leadership.
Centre for Early Christian Studies
The Centre for Early Christian Studies is a research and teaching centre with expertise in the fields of biblical studies, church history, art history, Christian literature, and Christian languages (Greek, Latin, Coptic, Arabic, Syriac, Armenian and Chinese) from the period of the New Testament to the eighth century.
Institute of Child Protection Studies
The Institute of Child Protection aims to enhance the well-being of children, young people and families through quality research, evaluation, training and community education. The Institute links research and practice through collaborative partnerships, with a commitment to prevention, early intervention and tertiary services, with a particular emphasis on participatory research methods.
Mathematics Teaching and Learning Research Centre
The Mathematics Teaching and Learning Research Centre promotes quality research and a national perspective on mathematics and literacy teaching and learning. Using national and international linkages, the Centre is committed to raising and addressing the social and ethical dimensions of mathematics and literacy education, and providing advice to government and professional organisations on policy development.
National Centre for Clinical Outcomes Research (NaCCOR)
The National Centre for Clinical Outcomes Research conducts rigorous, collaborative and multi-disciplinary programmes of international and national nursing, midwifery and health services research across five priority areas: acute care, chronic care, innovative healthcare delivery, implementation research and vulnerable communities.
Quality of Life and Social Justice Research Centre
The Quality of Life and Social Justice Research Centre conducts research related to improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Australians, especially for disadvantaged groups including intellectual disability, ageing, community engagement, social and family policy and youth spirituality.

Asia-Pacific Centre for Inter-Religious Dialogue
The Asia-Pacific Centre for Inter-Religious Dialogue (APCID) aims, through research and scholarship, learning and teaching, and community engagement, to promote dialogue, mutual understanding, respect and collaboration among Christians and followers of other religions. A major objective is to make a sustained intellectual contribution to such dialogue from the perspective of the Catholic tradition, and to foster similar intellectual enquiry in other faith traditions.
Centre of Physical Activity across the Lifespan (CoPAAL)
The Centre of Physical Activity Across the Lifespan (CoPAAL) conducts research into (1) the role of exercise in preventative medicine and (2) sports science. The aim is to advance the understanding of how physical activity can make a difference to health outcomes across the lifespan.
Golding Centre for Women’s History, Theology and Spirituality
The Golding Centre for Women’s History, Theology, and Spirituality is building more comprehensive understandings of the contributions of women from historical perspectives, in particular in regard to social and cultural aspects of their thoelogies and spirituality. Redressing of the endemic societal problem of the loss of women's history, which results in inadequate mainstream history, which in turn produces deficient theologies and spiritualities and subsequently inadequate social and political policies.
Plunkett Centre for Ethics
The Plunkett Centre aims to advance knowledge and understanding of the ethical standards relevant to human health and well-being, and in particular to clinical practice, medical research, business and management practices in healthcare, and the allocation of healthcare resources. It is a joint centre of the ACU and St Vincent’s and Mater Health Sydney.
